Weaving Nature

Just finished two new weavings, which I have been working on over the last several months. I have added some found natural items that demanded to be included. One has a branch with rusted, copper wire and paper covered wire and a wrapped wooden hoop on top of the hand woven wool on rust colored felted wool. The other one includes a piece of wood, lunaria seed pods, bamboo, wooden beads and felted “rocks” with hand embroidered French knots. Below is a detail of “Woven Nature”.
