Hi, I’m Sue Lewis,
a textile and mixed media artist
who loves the imperfection of nature. I also create fiber vessels.
Above vase on the left is “Canvas Vase” with flowers by heat press, next is “Felted Vase”, “Lichen Vase”, and last one is “Lunaria with Poppies”.
Below is a hand coiled bowl with a twig vase, “Holding Gentleness”. My instructor, Lorna Crane said, “If you are bold, be bold. If you are gentle, be gentle”. This is very soft and light, but still has structure. The twig base gives it support .
