Mixed Media
Starting to develop a mixed media class for all ages and all stages in your artistic journey. This class would be focused on creating your mixed media artwork that would be uniquely “you”. We will gather and collect papers, found objects, fabrics, textures and explore a variety of techniques to prepare and assemble wall pieces that represent your favorites.
Yes, we will consider adding text, stitch, paint, foil, clay and plaster. Possibly adding fused or melted materials and paper making to this truly mixed media course.
You will need to consider your preferences and your interests to express them in a visual way that has meaning for you. The more personal your artwork is, the more it will capture the interest of viewers.
